The bottom picture is during a 1970 or so Nebraska QSO party, I would set up portable in a county using this setup. It's two bamboo poles and a Hy-Gain tape doublet, the radio was a Galaxy V running 300 watts. I would run both SSB and CW using this setup. I won the Nebraska section that year. The car is a 1966 Plymouth Valiant, a very good car. Note the Hustler mobile mount on the trunk lid. de Mike, NFØN
